Antique Bone Biedermeier Piano Forte Music Box
This is a wonderfully carved pre-ban fine bone circa early to mid 1900s.
Spectacularly hand carved bone piano music box; 10" high, 4" width and 6" in length...wonderful detail. A fabulous piece is in excellent vintage condition...beautifully carved...wonderful pronounced cross hatched grain...nice patina...normal age cracks. Plays six pieces. In working order with key. Slight cracks in the top and has been repaired. This piece came from an estate collection of rare and exotic ethnographic carvings and art works. Please note this piece is made from pre-ban bone, legally imported into the U. S. before the ban.
